Hanami Scalp pigments are the first scalp micropigmentation pigments in the world to be based on Novoxx technology. Carbon, in a specially chosen shade of black, replicates the natural color of the hair follicle in the most realistic way. the advantage of Hanami Scalp pigments is their ability to fade gradually in the skin without changing into undesired colors.

New REACH regulations affecting all scalp micropigmentation artists in the European Union, came into effect on january 4th 2022. All pigments and inks used for SMP, permanent makeup tattooing must be compliant with the new regulations. Right now, Hanami SMP is the only scalp micropigmentation pigment to meet the new requirements.

The new regulations apply only to SMP artists within the EU. Currently, regulatory changes do not affect UK artists, or European artists in non EU countries. However, the UK version of REACH is expected to come into force in the near future, with similar requirements expected.
